Really upset & worried about going into highschool , please read ! (repost)?

ok , this year i am starting high school. i have always had to wear uniforms . i went shopping yesterday & my mom talked me into these cargo/khakis from pac sun that are a dark gray & a light gray. they are ok but everything i own is like gray & and dark blues & blacks. & a few pinks & oranges. i bought four plaid shirts yesterday too bu they seem more wintery and have to be worn with jeans or leggings and its too hot for that . i have one pair of plaid bermutas that are purple & white (they are cute) & a pair of jean bermutas . when i wear bermutas with the tops that i have a feel not very girly & i was wondering how i can change my style a little more to make it girly. i guess ill have to go buy some brighter tees other then gray. but can u please help me ? iwant to make a great impression & im really afraid. thanks for taking the time to read this.
