How to get a Part Machined?

I was wodering if I have a CAD file (specifically solidworks) of a custom part, where would be the best place to go and get the part machined. I live in Long Beach, CA, so if anybody knows any machine shop like that in my area, it would help alot. Otherwise, I would like some advice on finding a machine shop to go to. Thanks.
