I'll just add that the crew wasn't new! Many transferred from other liners including Olympic! The Captain could admit nothing he was dead! All the life boats couldn't hold 65 people,only 14 of them did ,the 4 Collapsibles held 47 each, and the 2 emergency boats held 40.
