I like my friend and he likes me but?

well he acts like he likes me. calling me "little teapot" (he calls my mom teapot) after i saw something sarcastic or funny,chase (the friend) josh (his friend) brittney and brandy (josh's sisters) we're all squished in the back seat and i was up against him and he kept playing with my thumb,he has a four-wheeler and brittney and i went down away from the house to watch them fish and my mom said they had to bring us back since it was getting dark and he rode brit and i up on the four-wheeler (yes i was right behind him),kept looking at me,said specifically "terra will you do a favor. FOR ME?" he knows if he does that ill do it lol,said bye to me by my name "see ya terra" so yea u get the point that he likes me. i like him buuutttt i don't know all the signals of flirting and im shy? any ideas on how to show him signs i like him? i.e touching eye contact smiles any thing?
